Q. I want to establish a small herb garden.
What are the best herbs to grow on the Mid North Coast of NSW?
I have Coriander, Basil, Parsley and chives.
Everything except the chives are doing very well.
Have you any suggestions for other herbs.
Thank you? |

A. Two books may be able to assist. 'Herbs: their cultivation and usage' includes information on the best time to plant for different climate zones, as does the book 'Easy Organic Gardening and Moon Planting' by Lyn Bagnell.
'Herbs: their cultivation and usage' also includes information on companion planting which can be useful in getting the best from your herbs and also your vegetables.
